Wedding at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa – The Rocks

It was a calm and breezy Sunday afternoon as Wen Jin and Jay played for Crystal’s wedding for an engagement of Resonance Quartet, which they formerly founded and managed. The wedding solemnisation was held at the Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa’s outdoor lawn area known as “The Rocks”, just next to the island’s coastal line.

Wedding at Jing, One Fullerton

Kenny and Jessica’s wedding was held at the restaurant Jing at One Fullerton. The outdoor patio was beautifully decked out in pink, and guests were treated to view of the Singapore river and city skyline as they enjoyed the wedding buffet lunch. Once again, we were happy to provide live string music to accompany the bride’s march-in and certificate signing.

Hey Jay,

Thank you for your email.
The players were just fantastic! They were flexible and accommodating. I simply love the tune from Nutcracker! :)
I will keep you in mind for all my future events.
Take care and have a great weekend ahead! :)Warmest Regards,

Violin Duet for Wedding at Fort Canning Park

Aidan conceived a surprise solemnisation ceremony, and our violinists Jay and Max were at Fort Canning Park early in the morning to perform as a violin duet for the ceremony. Positioned next to the elegantly set-up flower pavillion, we serenaded the guests with wedding favourites as they waited patiently for the bridal party to arrive. Not long after, the bride marched down the aisle to “Canon in D”, and we played Bach’s “Air on G” as the couple signed the marriage certificate. Yet another beautiful wedding in our record books!

Singapore Food Manufacturers Association’s CNY Celebration

Vetta Quartet was invited to perform for the Singapore Food Manufacturers Association’s Chinese New Year Celebration luncheon held on 4th February at Orchidville. In addition to our standard classical string quartet pieces, we also played a couple of specially arranged Chinese pieces to augment the celebratory atmosphere.
